Reminiscent of a beach hotel, this local, feels local – the diners know each other, the bar is set up at one end, kids play area at the other. The laid-back atmosphere made this a lovely venue for our early Sunday night dinner. The cheese gnocchi is apparently delicious but I ordered the pizza with pumpkin, goats cheese and artichokes. It arrived on a breadboard with a mound of rocket on top. To accompany, the beetroot salad is delicious with beetroot, orange segments, walnuts, goats cheese and rocket. Note the beetroot isn’t plentiful but the quantities make the salad refreshing, rather than filling.
Nothing really stood out for dessert, but we were relaxed enough to stay at our table and chat as our food digested. I would definitely go back here for a casual meal.
