Trying to make it in the gastro-pub scene, despite the white table cloths and mood lighting, the Lincoln doesn't quite cut it.

There are two dining areas, the dining room and the bar. The menus from both are produced by the same kitchen but the former comes with a heftier price tag. The dining room menu is uninspiring: cous cous tagine as the only vegetarian main, and fetta stuffed zucchini flowers as the only entrée. The bar menu has a bit more variety including polenta with field mushrooms with spinach and brie.

I ordered the field mushrooms and was unimpressed. The polenta had a nice, light texture, but overall the dish was bland.

The service is pleasant, the setting in the dining room romantic, but unfortunately the food was uninspiring and over-priced - meat-eaters on our table felt the same way.
